HAHA Ive done that once or twice ... shhh no one will ever notice.

BTW, the secret of having people think you have the best BBQ in town came to me from my father. Invite everyone over to eat at 2, but don't have it ready until 5 or so. They will be so hungry by that time, BBQ'd shoe leather would be tasty. Works everytime.

In this instance, let me suggest using a rub instead of sauce. That way the little dirt specks that you couldn't get out of the meat will be thought of as tasty little spices. :)

It's hot enough here right not to cook that slab of meat right on the cement.

And the humidity will lock-in those natural juices.
