>>What "jump-to-message-number box"? I don't see one...And do you have to know the number of the message you want?

On the right margin opposite the time stamp of this message, it says "Reply # 107 of 107". The first 107 should be in a box.

Here's the source of confusion, David. If you read messages one at a time, the 'jump-to-message' box is there. If you read messages in groups of ten, it is not. (The 'Reply #107' is just a link back to the individual message #107.) In other words, you can't jump to a different individual message from a group of 10. Nor can you respond to a message from a group of 10. Nor can you jump to a group of replies to a message from a group of 10.

So you give up a bunch of conveniences by reading messages in a group of 10. But you gain the time of not having to retrieve messages 2-10 individually. It seems that you can't have your cake and eat it too. I and many others, I'm sure, would love to have had that luxury. Hopefully, it's near the top of the list for first-round enhancements.
