Just found a way to get by the line length problem...resize the browser itself to the line length you find comfortable. Happily, no slider bar appears at bottom...and all lines fit in your new artificial window. Oops, check that, a slider bar does appear, but it isn't neccessary, no worries. Still, having your desktop visible at the margins is different, I'm not quite used to working out of full screen mode. Yeah, that is actully pretty comfortable, still might have to take my browser font up a notch. The faint green lines seperating posts in ten at a time mode help. This is starting to work. Jackpot--now two browsers side by side, one eye and one half of your brain reading each, oh yeah, now I'm cookin'. Uh oh, that idea could be a problem when folks use hard returns... mismatched line length. Rats.
