Bad news for the bears:
1.<<<<Forrester predicts that this year American consumers will buy 16.9m new PCs—17% more than last year—raising household penetration to 52%.>>>
2. Dows weekly gain biggest in 103 years
3. Two Asian stock markets hit 21 month highs
4. 268,000 new jobs in June
5.Dow, S+P, Nas all at record highs.
6. Dell up 10% from its 1999 low. 85% from its 52 week low.
I.... I .. can't go on.. Its too sad. Someone from the MB thread may read this.

Chuzz,

I agree with your method and calculations overall, but am having a problem with one small detail. If you choose to assign shares of stock following the approach I outlined, rather than to repurchase the options, why would there be two market orders involved? I would have thought there would be only one.

Does your broker charge you a market-order fee to do the assignment, added on to the $50 assignment fee?
