I envy you seeing that, and hearing it, so much. I once read a promo for a tv program showing imploded bldgs; I wrote it down and remembered to look at it a week later. I loved it. And I couldn't even hear the sound. The sound of fireworks and the way you feel the explosions through the ground are almost as good as the sights.

I think the Kitten Ballet idea is very good. I suppose tutus would be out of the question?

The scariest sound i've ever heard was a lion roaring, not far away, when I was just in a canvas tent, at night in the Kalahari. They say they don't try to get into tents because they think they are solid objects; but maybe you could come across the one lion with a good conceptual intelligence.
