Hi Alan,

I have always traded at home and can't imagine working with a bunch of guys hollering and giving high fives (or crawling under their desks to sob) all the time. I need absolute silence.

It would be nice to have some solid statistics on how many daytraders there are... of course it would require defining exactly what a daytrader is. One reason I think it is difficult to gather data is that the attrition (read blowout) rate for daytraders (never holding overnight is my definition in this case) is definitely above 90%, and I'm beginning to think it is much closer to 98%, based on the number of survivors I personally know. You can't count 'em if they're not there.
