Paul, any PC you buy today will be obsolete in 3 years.
But this one is almost free. And I pay no more for the ISP
than I have been paying.

Our local paper had ads for Micro Center and Office Depot,
both offering similar deals.

BTW, I started on MSN Thursday and like it so far.
No problems at all and it has a few nice touches
I had not seen elsewhere.

Back to installing software. This PC even has USB
ports, so I can move files from the old one using
my ZIP drive.

Gottfried

Paul,

Current CompUSA, Best Buy and Circuit City are all offering $400 dollar rebates if you sign up for 3 yrs at their partner ISP. When applied to low priced machines like E-machines, the computers are practically free.
