Hi Annette,

Not that I know anything, but I recently posted on the GNET thread that the masthead color<bgcolor="#FFCC66"> ought to be replaced with something more pleasant like an FFCC00. But did any one listen? As a matter of fact someone did. And passed the information and insight along to the page designer who I can only speculate is a color blind ego-maniac who just doesn't get it, it being 1) color, pleasant, interesting, 'love to come back to' color or 2) design or 3) the possibility that he/she is handicapped as regards color vision. HELLO? IS THERE ANYBODY 'DESIGNING' THESE SITES?

Wasabi, when it is fresh is <bgcolor= #75BC10> wasabi, and not <bgcolor= #999966> oxidized, ready to be thrown away, too old to care about wasabi. Astute and cosmopolitan Seattlites should instantly recognize the difference. I wonder why our designer cannot?

TTBOMK, the last time the fashion world got it right was the '93 decision to introduce teals and magentas into our world in '95. Yes, there is necessarily a 2 year lag as the chemical dye manufacturers must be brought up to speed on what is going to be a fashion 'trend' a full 24 months before a fashion season commences.

So black is out? It will be back, it looks so good with Sandy Lerner's Urban Decay line I doubt we can live without it.

Australian colors? Ayer Rock Red and Tasman Sea Blue sound good to me, what do our committee members have in mind? Oh, never mind, I'll just let them disappoint me next spring.....

Best, Ray
