mogo, of course it did. did the midiclorians all run to his brain when he lost just about his whole body? anakin's count was taken from his arm - not his brain. lucas dropped the ball big time by bringing this midiclorian crap into the mix - especially w/ no references nor continuity w/ sw 4, 5 and 6. it just wasn't necessary.

i wonder if the midiclorians have anything to do w/ the clone part of the clone wars... cloning high mc counts for jedi or sith power?

Maybe they could capture all tha jedis and use them for blood donors! That way they could put the mediclorians in more people!

Mediclorian Count:

It seems to me that the mediclorian count is done on a per cell bases. If this is true then Vader does not loose his power when he looses body parts - that may also explain how yoda can have a very high count when he is so little.
