Gee whiz Christine I don't know where you get your information from but according to the San Francisco Chronicle web site 42% of the San Francisco bars are defying the smoking ban. The stats are even worse in L.A. and the small rural towns. There are plenty of smokers in CA, you just can't see them through your rose colored glasses.
