excellent question... at the focal point in developing nations... I tell friends of mine to buy Qualcomm, and keep buying, until cellphones displace landlines to moderate extent in the USA... that might be an indication of nearing an end in adoption (not sales) since the cost/benefit equation will have clearly tilted toward wireless, moving over the landline investment hump (big hump indeed)

then sales will be driven by advances in features, software, convergent utilization with PC's and other devices like home appliances, and quantum leaps in the actual technology

you engineers out there: what might follow CDMA in years to come?
