It is technical analysis good news from chartist Gary B. Smith. He has marked up on the graph and I am not able to copy it here. Anyway, here are his comments for the question:
Gary,
The chart on C-Cube (CUBE:Nasdaq) looks like a classic cup and handle, with excellent volume confirmation. Overhead at 47. Am I missing something, or is this ready to pop? -- Jake Jacoby

Gary's answer:
'Jake, this is a great looking chart'. 'The breakout came on high volume and it has pulled back into nice tight congestion. All aboard for the next leg up!'

Aiwa sets sights on DVD global market

JAPAN — In its bid to capture a share of the thriving DVD market worlwide, Aiwa is redirecting its first model to the United States. A second product is targeted for release to the local market by year-end, in time for Christmas sales push. But the firm is already setting its sights at markets in North America, mainland China and Europe.

Production will be carried out in Malaysia and at a domestic facility, and the firm is considering farming out manufacture to mainland China.

Worldwide demand for DVD players is predicted to reach 5 million units this year, and climb to 10 million pieces by 2000.
