Re: Discover Brokerage First, there is an SI thread for DB-- good idea to read the posts there (only 23 total) Subject 28316 The past 2 months that I've been with DB there have been only 2 IPOs: ARBA (which I did not get) and ASKJ (which I got 100 shares). DB is owned by Morgan Stanley. MSDW is probably "THE" hottest lead underwriter. Their IPOs perform better than all others including Goldman. However, DB customers are not getting every MSDW offer. As i said above, there is an average of 1 IPO a month on DB, and you may not get each one. My profits with IPOs from WIT and Etrade are many times greater than at DB. For example, I got no ARBA from DB, but I and my wife each got 100 ARBA from Etrade. Best Wishes Hersh
