Paper: look here pricewatch.com Have used the "low retail of the day" many a time for DRAM and disks and it has all worked out fine-- however shipping is now getting to be a significant percentage of the price so going down to the local store is getting to be competitive for 64 MB

True enough -- If you call them and they tell you you can't get more than a couple, that's the clincher.

The first one in the pricewatch.com list (Computer Super Sale) does exactly that -- they're a buck cheaper than everybody else with a limit of one per order. I wouldn't deal with those guys under any circumstances, if that's their style of operation.

I'll start keeping track of local sales I see in the papers, with limitations &c posted as well. First installment:

which is comparable to prices at the sites you listed.
