Yes I do disagree, but perhaps from ignorance. 3COM makes DSL modems, cable modems, communications products. There is daily improvement in this field. It is not a commodity in the sense that it makes no difference who makes and supports it. Also they have the Palm Pilot which is increasingly being adopted for wireless display and data entry. Plus they are profitable, and increasingly so. Zero debt. Pretty much the opposite of an internet company.
