Carolyn,

Sightseeing in Hawaii is everywhere, no matter which island you are on.

Shopping, fishing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, helicopter tours, bike tours, and on and on, are everywhere. There is NO BAD spot in Hawaii, and everywhere you look is a sight to see.

I have a feeling that the one thing this group will agree on is GNET. <gg>

INDEPENDENCE(?) DAY: My 10 year GNET Stock Value Chart

Carolyn and my fellow Go2Netrillionaires gang,

Okay, here's a little "day-dreamin fodder" for all you extremely "long" ones to ponder on this day of national celebration. I was originally going to post this over on the other GNET thread, but then thought what the heck. It really belongs over here in the "archives" of the really fun bunch of incredibly long "Go2Netrillionaires!"

My chart is based on absolutely NO TECHNICAL ANALYSIS WHATSOEVER, NO CHART STUDIES, and NO "INSIDE" INFORMATION. And. . . it must be reported that the chart was developed after a glass or two of some fairly good wine! Also, for any SI "lurkers" out there (you know who you are, as I was once one of you for many months), as well as any really "serious" (if you know what I mean) investors who might have accidentally stumbled onto this thread by mistake: I need to emphatically state, "The Chart below is JUST FOR FUN!!!"

Last year on this day (7/4/98) GNET's stock's value was 8 1/16 /share (adjusted for the two 2:1 stock splits, both in 1999). Today (7/4/99, one year later) GNET's stock's value is 89 1/4/share. Thus, the stock's value has increased 1,107% (that's over 11 times) in the last 12 months alone (7/4/98 - 7/4/99).

"GNET INDEPENDENCE DAY 1999-2009 CHART"
(for each $10,000 invested as of 7/4/99):
Date.....% Increase......Total Value.....%Increase.....Total Value
............(My Guess)........(My Guess)........(Actual)...........(Actual)
7/4/99........NA................10,000.00...........NA............10,000.00
7/4/00.......150%..............25,000.00...(1st yr: Updated next year on July 4th, 2000)
7/4/01.......125%..............56,250.00
7/4/02.......100%.............112,500.00...(3rd yr: Worth over 10 times initial investment)
7/4/03........90%.............213,750.00
7/4/04........85%.............395,437.50
7/4/05........75%.............692,015.63...(6th yr: Initial $10,000 worth over 1/2 million)
7/4/06........65%...........1,141,825.80...(7th yr: Initial $10,000 worth over $1 million)
7/4/07........55%...........1,769,830.00
7/4/08........45%...........2,566,253.40...(9th yr: Are we having any fun yet?)
7/4/09........36.3856%....3,500,000.10...(10th yr: I could be off by at least 10 cents :) ;)

The above chart is my personal "guesstimate" of the minimum stock value increase I expect GNET to have over the next ten years (by July 4th, 2009) for each $10,000 invested (I could have picked any starting amount) in GNET as of today's (7/4/99) stock value ($10,000 = approx. 112 shares at $89 1/4/share, as of today's current price). And heck, by 2009 most of the Y2K bugs should have been worked out, although I'm sure a few people will already be getting a little "stressed out" about Y3K by then. IMHO, the % increases indicated in my chart are very "conservative", and will most likely to be much higher than shown during the next five years, as Allen, Russell, and GNET's incredibly brilliant management team begin to develop, unfold, and fully get up and running their visions for a "wired/wireless world." IMO something "really big" is just beginning to happen, and GNET is right on the cutting edge of that future.

That's right. "IN MY (very) HUMBLE OPINION" I believe the minimum that GNET's stock value will increase over the next ten years is 35,000% (350 times today's value). And remember, Russell and John Keister will only be age 43 by 2009, with a many good "productive" years still ahead of them. And also remember, MSFT's stock value increased almost twice that amount in just 13 years.

Heck, if I'm completely wrong then perhaps I'll just pick up a few acres of waterfront property in Antarctica, and try my hand at banana farming or something. But no mater what, I plan to hang around very "long" just to find out if I've "guessed" right As I told Russell at the stockholder's meeting, I may even hold on to my GNET stock for 20 years or so. Heck, Grandma lived to 103, so I figure that I'm only about half way there. I don't plan to ever really "retire" from the work I love so much, but having a little financial "independence" is another mater entirely.

BTW, please don't ask me how or why I picked the annual percent increases I choose. I have no absolutely idea! The figures just came flying our of my "right brain." I plan to update the above chart each year on July 4th (GNET "Independence" Day) with the "actual" numbers for the previous 12 months.

HAPPY "INDEPENDENCE" DAY to all you Go2Netrillionaires,
and to the amazing team and management at Go2Net!!! Keep up the great work you're doing for us al!!!

And, "I'll be back" exactly one year from today for an update.

Gotta go now, and get a few "tube steaks" and burgers ready for "barbie,"
and find my old stash of bottle rockets to shoot off tonight!

Ya'all have a little really fun (but safe n'sane) day!!!
Roger ("Fodder Guy" #49) :)

I'm flexible on everything, but if we're going to Maui, Makawao Steak House is a must for dinner. Island casual dining, and the best Maui beef in the world. I've been there several times, and each time it's been awesome!
