<OT> Thanks for the history lesson!! I attempted to give my kids a brief lesson today, so that they might appreciate what it means to be free. They are at an age were they are very eager to learn about this history of this great nation. Although, I am afraid the history lesson may have been over shadowed by the fireworks tonight!!! I cannot wait 'til morning to share with them the history of the signers that you have enlightened me with here. It will also give me a chance to see if they remember anything we discussed today!!! (Or if the fireworks took over their brains!!!) They are having a bit of a historic summer. Last month we visited Lincoln's birthplace and boyhood home. This month then, we hope to add to our Lincoln history lessons when we are in Illinois. ~~Neenny~~
