Its pretty difficult to tell. MS has mis-managed the information/media flow, so that now everything emanating from Redmond is suspect and will probably be turned against them. That's the usual price to pay when reputation and credibility are washed away.

Nonetheless, we did discuss this and other options some time ago. If this is a managed leak (?!) then perhaps it is in the form a trial balloon. As you know my own preference is the Stallings proposal of opening up the source and controlling the VAR relationships.

District Court Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson had said he would release a ruling on a Friday at 6:30 p.m. EST in the 'findings of fact' on the case.

Well, perhaps this will create some interest for this thread.
