"Do you know a lot of prudish women?" I WAS married to one for 18 years. "I meet women who are tired because they work AND have to do most of the housework and childcare. But I don't meet a lot of prudish women. I meet tired, overworked women." Yes X, women's lib sure gave the average American wife her freedom. Can you remember back to the horrible 50's when most American wives stayed home and took care of their kids, made chocolate chip cookies, played canasta every Wed. with their girlfriends, took their kids to the park, baked cakes from scratch? Imagine the degradation those poor women suffered being forced to live a wretched life like that. Thank god that liberated wives of today will be on the turnpike Tuesday morning fighting traffic trying to get to work and make some money to pay the light bill.
