Goldsnow,

Were I just referring to the North Slope, then you might be correct. And you know, that would be bad for Alaskans and their yearly rebates.

But I'm not. I'm talking about the trillions of cubic feet of gas in Egypt, the Caspian, potentially in the Spratly Islands, and some suspect in the Falklands.

Then there are the discoveries being made off the coast of Africa.

So sure... eventually we'll run out of oil and we'd damn will better be looking to alternative fuel sources over the next 10-20 years and developing them to full-scale commercial viability.

But run out in the next couple of years, or even reach a point where demand begins to outpace supply??? I highly doubt it.

After all, in a pinch, there's always that 500 year supply of coal we can convert into liquid fuels.

Regards,

Ron
