All, I tried to edit my Post # 4428 but the door slammed on me too soon.

I made a statement in that post that was predicated on hearsay, regarding RCN delivering DSL to MDUs. I may have to take that back, in part, because the way they are billing their DSL service is as a commercial one for businesses, ostensibly. But where does one conduct their business, is another story.

After reviewing their web site on this topic for the first time just now, I see that they are set up to deliver DSL at rather healthy monthly rates (see url below), and whether the end point is in a business location, or an MDU, may just be one of those arbitrary things. The point being, however, that it is not being portrayed by RCN as a vehicle for casual web surfing. Not at those rates, in any event. More likely as a means for businesses to access 'net services and VPNs in buildings that are not supported by cable, or in MDUs which likewise do not contain their brand of cable offerings.
