Apologies for "Blowout" Comment, but PTEN is looking sweet.

Pardon me if I got a little excited when I posted the rig numbers - I have a mountain of PTEN (also rode a load down from $15). I think in general that the OSX may be slow to advance here, but PTEN is a thoroughbred. Look at all the power plants being built for NG. Look at the NG prices recovering. Look at the land based rig count. Look at the Lehman Bros. "Keep Your Powder Dry" article which practically named PTEN. Look at the Forbes article which did. PTEN has configured itself for NG drilling, owning its majority of rigs with capacity to drill at NG depths. PTEN made it to $30 in '97 on the prospect of those rigs generating earnings. The prospect has now returned. It may be suitably valued at $15 but not at $10. The rest of the OSX should hold it down, but look at its chart. It has climbed very steadily out of the February bottom. I don't think that there is another OSX stock that has been as strong.

John:

My risk tolerance is even less than Diana's. Will not even buy individual OS stocks. Just the FSESX oil service mutual fund.
