Well the point I was trying to make is that with no border the beta site is really resizeable. You can really squish it and everything is still accessible on screen. Only the upper menu goes off to the right. The messages, the link group on the right (stocktalk, hot subjects, new, etc.) and the thread hierarchy plus previous/next/respond/next 10 all are viewable quite cleanly in a narrow window. You can practically go down to 6 inches. You will lose some of that flexibility if you put everything in a box. Nonetheless people here appear to like boxes. But I wonder if that is just what they are used to.
