Great idea, yet I just dont know what the NASD says about it. From an IRS standpoint, an in the money call would be considered an effective sale. But that doesnt mean that the same logic applies regarding uptick/upbid and borrowing.

Also, options are more illiquid and ultimately might cost you more in commissions.

Like the idea...not sure what NASD or SEC would say...think I know the IRS says no.
