FYO - Re: ". NSM chose to focus on integration and virtually stalled development in non-MediaGX areas to achieve this. If that was the wrong thing to do, then the fault lies fully with NSM. Cyrix does actually have some very promising (and competitive, both in speeds and die-size) chips on the table"

Excuse me !

If NSM chose to focus on integration and virtually stalled development in non-MediaGX areas "

Then how did Cyrix produce "some very promising (and competitive, both in speeds and die-size) chips on the table " ?

NSM allowed TWO DESIGN teams to exist in parallel - in Richardson AND Longmount - just as before they acquired Cyrix.

You and your AMDroid buddies keep fabricating EXCUSE after EXCUSE after EXCUSE to alibi for AMD and NSM/CYRIX F*CKups.

Face it - these two companies suck - and they are competing against the world's best semiconductor company !
