well max,

i'm sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with bookmarks. but i have to ask you, why didn't you have backups of everything? i know you don't want to hear that right now, but isn't it a little like the guy who can't dance and he blames it on the floor?

you didn't say what all you had done to retrieve your bookmarks. and you didn't ask for help, either. but i'll try to search the newsgroups for someone with a similar problem. and of course, that avenue is always open to you, too.

but you just sound too po'd to be thinking about fixing things, so maybe i'll keep my suggestions to myself.

again, i am sorry that those bookmarks went away on you. put the ones you have left on floppy or some other storage media right away.

:)

mark

max,

i'm going to pm you a compilation of posts i just found on netscape newsgroups that in one way or another address your bookmark issue.

it'll be there in a few minutes...

maybe you can find the answer in there somewhere, or email some of the individuals for help.

btw, this compilation includes a link to a site that will sort your bookmarks alphabetically, then load them back into netscape.

btw2, i hear ie browser users complain because all their bookmarks are arranged alphabetically! <g3>

:)
