No, I did not pursue a career in the armed forces, but neither am I asking the American people to elect me President and Commander-in-Chief. That Bill Clinton is in this position is sickening. If GWB used influence to get rules broken in his favor, this is of concern to all potential voters, both those who served and those who didn't. Read the story again--there was a 100,000 person waiting list; anyone else would have waited a year and a half for acceptance. GWB got right in! I'm sick of scandals, both Republican and Democrat. If something's fishy here, let's find out now. I don't have to be a vet to insist that my President be a man of character. This story is troubling--if it's malarkey, then GWB is well in the clear; if every word is true, all Americans (vets and non-vets) must question this man's character.
