"I haven't checked out LB Raschke's book or anything by Jeff Cooper. Can anyone comment on these?"

Both books don't present anything that hasn't been around for years. Most patterns or setups are based on the contraction/expansion in market. Both fail to complete the task by providing exits. If you haven't seen some of these patterns, they present them well. Both tend to position trade and don't restrict it to a day.

Cooper is unique addressing stocks and giving a weekly journal of his trades. No 50 trades day here or with Raschke's. He seems to keep about $500k active and wanting $10k weekly return.

If you asked either one, they would say daytrading doesn't get the job done or at least that what their books reflect. The same for Elder and Trader vic. All show muti-day trades for examples.

Now has anyone seen a good book on daytrading, muti-trades a day, taking everything home at night on the stock market?? I haven't.
