WAVX.. my opinion of the "porfolio manager" Claugus is not worth mentioning. He knocks the internets which he missed while he as in the most unimpressive sector I can imagine. He remained 'net short'.. which alone reveals his stock picking acument. His dismissal of the entire internet sector with the words:

..... ..A few people DID succeed and they made money. I'm sorry Mr. Claugus, but a LOT of people made money, maybe you just missed the boat with your rinky dink stock picks..

BUT...I would not go long his shorts no matter what my opinion of this manager is. Barron's has succeeded in pushing down AMZN and AOL on two occasions and whatever your opinion on this stick picker is, you have to weigh that against the 'power' this paper unfortunately wields in our market. The only reason I even read this paper to be informed of where they are 'leading' the 'misguided' herd. When I saw his picks I happened to have been long the seismic companies and energy companies in the 1995-1998 year and have done well with stocks, (CDG, MAVK, VTS, FGI, SCSWF, CXIPY,) but have yet to see a resurgence of the sector any where near their glory at that time. I do like CDIS however.

Just bide your time, wait until it sells off (if indeed it does) and see, there are better stocks out there for both shorts and longs. There are so many stocks to choose from, I'd just assume leave WAVX for the longs and short to duel it out. When the coast is clear, I might move, but not now..
