Has anyone considered the amount of gold to hit the market from the BOE sale may cause a dramatic increase in Future and Future Options to be written. This may very well lower the spot considerably.

Claude, this e-gold system might be like that child's book story which
I remember the title, but I really don't have a clue what the story is.

"The Mouse That Roared"

Imagine if the expected for gold bugs, and the not expected for most of
the world's population, that the USA bubble pops .... and so on, and out
of the crash and mess arises gold as the only thing undamaged and
getting stronger in each passing day.

Then this e-gold will let people buy gold and most importantly a means
to use it as currency to buy and sell for an exchange of currency thats
represented in the price of gold, and this done as you pointed out thru
the electronic exchange of ownership thru the internet.

if the USA bubble pops
and other countries economies fall either before or after
than a cry will go out
heard by all
why
and the answer will be, blame paper money
and the e-gold mouse will roar like the pide pipper "join and follow me"

Also, it was clearly stated in the e-gold web site that they are not in the
business to loan rent etc the gold stored by members, but what if a
member holding lots of gold in e-gold tried to act like a "bank" and rent
out their holding to other members ? Does e-gold have rules and regulations
that spell out "things" that cannot be done ?
