>>I find that the PC-Card Clik! has moved up from #510 yesterday, coming in on today's chart at #457. Orb, on the other hand, is moving in the other direction. From #401 yesterday, the SCSI internal Orb is down to 407.<<

Actually, the USB Orb is at #407

The SCSI internal Orb is at #594 (leaping up from #726)

Allen, I don't know why Wonky is comparing CLIK to Microdrive. Microdrive is a hard drive while Clik is a peripheral for storage of 40 MB. Microdrive costs about 2x as much as Clik and has way more storage capacity. I'm sure Microdrive is the cats meow, but it targets the high end market for Digcams etc. I can live with both and no one on the thread has any complaints about Big Blue or their products. Gottfried and Ben A could say a lot more than me as they are very familiar with IBM. Soon Wonky will be comparing CLIK to the next space shuttle. I don't feel that any one has to criticize Microdrive just because Wonky says it it's better than Clik. Let's compare apples with apples... SR

Allen, you said > Orb, on the other hand, is moving in the other direction. From #401 yesterday, the SCSI internal Orb is down to 407.

Well, if ORB was replaced by Click! in the sentence above, Elmer
would shout "it's failing in the market place".<G>

Allen, I have a need to transfer a couple of programs from
my old to my new PC. Since both accept my USB ZIP it will
be easy. Except that I won't be able to catch all the little
system file changes for each program. I thought I saw a program
somewhere that captures all that. "File transfer" comes to mind.
Is there such a program? The programs were preloaded and I don't
have the CD.

[...just bought a new e-Tower PC for a total
outlay of $146, including sales tax. I only had to promise to use MSN as my ISP for 3 years at $19.95 per month [less than what my old ISP
charges and unlimited usage]. The PC has a 400 MHz Celeron.]
