QwikSand, rember Twister? He left and Dale took over the thread and I don't see Dale here lately. Higher the stock went more we use to hear from Dale.

IBM just bought market share....nothing more..in time they will convert all they can to larger RS6000s as well as IBM SP2s running IBM power PC chips. NUMA is what IBM was after....! Now they have a Super Computer based on MPP( SP/2 shared nothing model) and NUMA. IBM has a good 3 year lead on Intel if not more with PPC. For what IBM spent on R&D for PPC and new Power III chips, the price for Sequent was spare change.
