*OT* Yikes, surfing the market. Those low volume stocks would be wipe out city as you hit all the holes between trades. Actually you are onto another good idea that I almost am afraid to post. If you could query all the hits on quote and research hits you would have an indication of how many are waiting on the sidelines with an interest in certain stocks especially the lower float ones. You could then spark movement on the stock knowing that there was an abundance of people ready to jump in. It would be the perfect pump and dump tool except you wouldn't have to pump it.

As for cookies, I usually refuse them but I shudder every time I go to a retailer that accepted cookies from in the past and it greets me when I return without sending me a new one and it knows who I am and what I am probably shopping for. Imagine if the market knew you tended to buy early or late and sell too early or late based on certain types of price movement. Although I am sure they would never use this to our disadvantage. <ng>

If you ever manage to make a wave form based on time and price movement like you describe, I will buy one even though I can't surf. I am sure I could figure out some way to use it to our advantage.

Good Luck,

Lee
