Peach, it's great we gals are putting our Heads together to help Blue with his browser. Now that you mention Netscape, it occurs to me I have Netscape too, along with IE, along with the AOL and MSN Proprietaries. So I've earned my right to sing the blues, like you guys, lemmetellya. Browser problems can be bad when something snarls them up, huh? I did a Mindspring Free Trial a ways back, and they tangled me up but good; scariest thing was they had me accessing MSN.com with Netscape from their access #!! Regardless of what the newspapers say about The 2 Big Browsers getting along fine after court "What You See Is What You Get". The way My Thang acted up after Explorer caught Netscape trespassing on it's MSN through a rival ISP 'twas like Darth Vadar Gettin' Mighty Ugly In There, Lemmetellya. Yep. Brings to mind one time I was at the So. Cal. Tidepools playing with the lil sea critters, hosting a party for 'em in a bucket to the delight of my toddler and her little friends. We'd caught some cute little hermit crabs and a baby starfish the size of your pinky nail, then as if that wasn't pretty enough I was lucky enough to find a tiny baby octopus hardly bigger than the starfish! Lucky, or so I thought...The very moment that little guy hit that water in the pail, all those poor little hermit crabs jumped right out of their shells. I felt real mean laughing at the little guys and letting the kids laugh, but it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen and Bleeve-U-Me I've seen some funny sights in my life! I got that octopus out of there pronto, and put it in its own pail. It took the little crabs awhile to find their own homes again too, we were kept busy refreshing their water every five minutes til they did. So I had to make sure we put 'em back in different pools on the reef, after that. Yep, those hermit crabs was what my computer acted like when Darth Vadar didn't like what was trespassing on his property, yessirree. So they had to have seperate pails. So Blue, maybe it might have to do with either Netscape or Mindspring warring with Explorer like Dueling Browsers in Digital Space if you have 'em on your puter. Did you download their program? Check to see who is homepage and who is default. Look in your programs and see if Mindspring is on there, if so...that might be it and coordinating default browsers or uninstalling Mindspring might be the trick that does it. When that snarlup happened to me, my settings kept going back to screwup mode til I fixed that browser problem when I caught it by changing the defaults back. Some settings aren't operational til clicking Apply, then OK, then immediate Re-Boot, either. Live @ Techstock '99...SOUND THE ALARM!!!.... It's RINGO To The Rescue!!
