I just realized that there is a one-step method to get to charts: In the blue search box below the message, enter the stock symbol and then choose "Charts" from the dropdown. That takes you directly to the chart.

I agree that it would be great to be able to set parameters for charts. It shouldn't be too hard to add that since the option to set parameters is currently available on the IQC charts page. IQC allows you to store several different named settings for the charts.

By the way, as near as I can tell, IQC doesn't use cookies to store the parameter, but rather stores the choices on the server. I'm curious about the sense of privacy at work here: Are you more comfortable having parameters stored in a central database rather than being saved on your machine in a cookie file? Would you rather have SI give up the cookie and store everything centrally?
