Sarmad,
Don't underestimate the potential effect of the NY Times piece on AOL and the net sector coming into YHOO earnings this week. If the elephants come thundering in along with Joe Retail, I wouldn't want to be short these names. Good luck.

none of them look likely right now. In fact if yhoo

Why bursting my "bubbles"? I am waiting for Yhoo$200 to sell my calls and then buy puts. The Yhoo e-runs got only $20 so far; (from $160 to $180); why not $20 more?

If there is no run at all next Tue/Wes/Thursday, both Yhoo/Amzn will go back to $120/$90 very soon, IMHO.

"Regarding the various e-runs, none of them look likely right now. In fact if yhoo happens, I think it will be after the report, if they show a positive surprise. I don't think 10c will do it. Ebay I expect to drop 30 points either before or after its report. And I doubt that AOL will show much e-growth, either."

I don't understand your perspective on this. The e run has been going on for at least 1 week. Aol traded up 30 dollars over it's low 1 week ago. Yhoo is up ~60 in 3 weeks, and appears ready to trade at 190 at the open, based on what happened in Europe with aol, and cmgi. Gnet and inkt have really moved in the past two weeks.

Is it that you feel it is not a "run" if the stock doesn't make new highs?
