James, I am not going to put words into Hal's mouth, but IMO, people like Emile contribute to the overall climate that leads to tragedies like the one this weekend. When people constantly spew words of hatred and condemn entire groups of people with blanket statements they are helping to create a divisive and alienated culture wherein people that believe differently are viewed as less worthy. When you preach exclusivity, when you publicly call the beliefs of others evil, you can not be surprised when those people start to be viewed as having less value. I am not saying that emile would kill anyone, but I am saying that his rhetoric contributes to an overall mood that is, to an extent, a cause of the overall problem. Mark
