>> I notice that the board (as usual) has taken a strong turn toward unreality again. denial at it's best. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you guys are some of the biggest suckers on this planet. Amazing how Iomega pre-announces a dismal quarter, you bail, then jump in again as the stock makes a small uptick. It is very funny to watch. You take this uptick as a sign that things are great with the company again. If you want to read about yourselves check out: "The Psychology of Technical Analysis" by Tony Plummer. << Ken - Oh, heck no. Let's see ... in denial ... biggest suckers on this planet ... funny to watch. Hey, no problem. How could anyone take that the wrong way? Now, before I respond to the emotional content of your post, I'll respond to the rational part. What I don't understand about your post, Ken, is why you believe that people on this thread believe that "things are great with the company again." I have been reading and contributing to this same thread, and I don't see where you get that. People on this thread have been pointing out things that they see as positive developments. I also note that many of us continue to argue with Elmer about specific points regarding Iomega's products vs. those of other companies. But I haven't seen anybody saying, "Wow, I'm really glad the company is back on track and the future sure looks totally rosy." I believe if you took a poll among all the contributors here, you'd find that most of them understand that Iomega has serious problems. I think you'd find that most of them believe that any investment in Iomega is quite risky. Now to the emotional. I imagine that you will once again draw some fire for this latest post, and you will again decry the fact that Iomega bulls choose to attack you personally rather than to respond to your arguments. I think that just saying "don't take this the wrong way" doesn't change an insult into something else. Telling people they are suckers and saying they should read about themselves in psychology texts is usually construed to be a personal attack. If you don't believe me, read the following paragraph. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you are one of the biggest pompous asses on the planet. I suggest that if you check out any bookstore, you might find some psychology texts that deal with exactly your kind of communication style. It's a style which is pretty much guaranteed to generate negative responses. Now, let me ask you, Ken. How did that last paragraph make you feel? Are you now disposed to carry on a rational discourse with me? - Allen
