Yes Palo Alto must be Mountain View.It looked like they were exploding over the 92 bridge from where I was.

The star gazing sounds wonderful. I miss that about being in Alabama. Though for a large city, we do pretty well where I am for visibility. There's a store close by that is all maps, including maps of the sky. Way fun to browse through.
