I am very fussy. But if one passes the test, it's worth it.

My husband and my mother were quite fond of each other, actually. When the marriage ended and about a year and a half later I started to see someone seriously and wanted to invite him to Thanksgiving, my mother said she wasn't "ready yet." (I don't think I need to tell you how I responded and that the Thanksgiving was a success.)

"There is no such thing as a married man 100 miles from home."

What can be frightening is when 100 miles from home, the lovers are assumed to be married because they are so easy and natural together.
