GOD SAVE THE QUEEN....ANY THOUGHTS ON NSCC ELIGIBLE RULE.. On the first business day of each month from July 1999 through June 2000, a new group of OTCBB companies will be required to become compliant with the Eligibility Rule (NASD 6530). This rule will limit quotations on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB) to the securities of companies that report their current financial information to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), banking, or insurance regulators and describes when those rules will be applied to issuers quoted on the OTCBB. OTCBB Eligibility List On January 4, 1999, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved amendments to NASD Rules 6530 and 6540 to limit quotations on the OTC Bulletin Board® ("OTCBB") to the securities of companies that report their current financial information to the SEC, banking, or insurance regulators ("Eligible Securities"). The obligation to determine whether a security is an Eligible Security lies with the market makers quoting that security. The Link below provides a list of securities traded on the OTCBB as of January 4, 1999. Those securities that Nasdaq believes are not Eligible Securities are so indicated. All other securities (including all banks and insurance companies) are labeled "Not Yet Determined." Nasdaq will make final decisions as to Eligible Securities as their Eligibility Determination Date approaches. We ask that interested parties check the Eligibility Status and related data. If there is information which you believe is missing or incorrect, please e-mail otcbbfeedback@nasd.com, include "OTCBB Eligibility status correction" as the subject of the e-mail. Please also provide the CIK number if the issuer is an EDGAR filer.
