Overview GoOn-line.com is a company that offers a variety of products and services via the World Wide Web. GoOn-line.com will sell products such as household items, cooking appliances and utensils, skin care and beauty products, and personal fitness products. Almost anything that is normally offered to the public through exclusive TV offers or infomercials will now be available through electronic-commerce on the Internet. At GoOn-line.com, the customer will be able to search for products by category or by product name and obtain a full description of the product offer including a picture. In addition, the customer will be able to view the TV offer in part or in its entirety all from the GoOn-line.com web site. The GoOn-line.com web site will be a place where a customer can find all their favorite products seen advertised on TV. The customer will be able to shop from hundreds of products and add them to their electronic shopping cart. At the checkout counter, the customer will be able to purchase all the products selected from one easy location… GoOn-line.com. GoOn-line.com will then process the orders and have the products delivered right to the customers' door. Contributors •Operations/Marketing Scott Claverie will be directing the operations and marketing efforts of GoOn-line.com. Scott comes from the telecommunication industry with over 10 years experience. In the past, Scott has been responsible for sales and marketing for companies such as MCI and Pacific Bell. More recently, Scott was a regional manager for Computer Telephone Corp. Computer Telephone Corp. was responsible for managing some Pacific Bell's customer base with over 45 million dollars of revenues. Scott and his team were responsible for the sales and marketing of additional products and services to the customer base and to generate additional revenue. Web Development GoOn-line.com has contracted with College of Business at California State University, Chico for the initial web page development. The development will be managed by Scott Claverie and GoOn-line.com's Webmaster. Webmaster St. John Maloney will be the Webmaster of GoOn-line.com and consulting with California State University, Chico in the initial development of the web site. St. John comes to GoOn-line.com with technical expertise in web page design and architecture from NASA, National Semiconductor and CompuWare where his job responsibilities were also the Webmaster. St. John has an in-depth working knowledge of web tools and programming language such as HTML, Perl and Java to ensure that GoOn-line.com will have a dynamic interface to our customers. St. John also has two Master Degrees. System analyst/engineer Mathew Herman will be our technical person managing the GoOn-line.com server and the Internet connectivity. Matt has over 10 years in Local Area and Wide Area Network management and design. Matt has even more experience with managing and maintaining servers that reside on a variety of platforms such as Microsoft NT/95/98, Novel 3.x/4.x/5.x, Linux and UNIX. In addition, he has programming experience that includes HTML, Perl, and C that will contribute to the design of the web site.
