Okay, let me try it this way...

In the SI classic, when you click on your subject "bookmarks", the page generates those with "new messages" first.....they appear before the page is fully loaded.

In the case that someone may have a hundred or so(just a guess) subjects bookmarked, it takes longer for the page to finish.

In the beta, They appear all at once(no break between BMwith or with out "new messages") and this takes much longer to see the BMed subjects with new messages.

While I'm clearing my subjects frequently during the day(to save time on loading the page) I'll often click on a subject with a new message before the page completes loading.

Sorry if this is more confusing than it needs to be. It's like 95° here with high humidity, my A/C is broker, and I'm just popping in and out from weeding the garden. I'm not all together right at the moment.<g>

p.s I finally was able to clean out my inbox from the messages the night of the beta launch.

while I'm at it..

I remember there being talk about expanding the Bookmark feature to allow us space to type in sopme personal notes associated with a subject or person BookMark.

ie: Member 4542915

This guy is a spammer and a tout, I can't remember at the moment. and with all his posts either wiped out, or beyond the 6 month record in his profile it's close to impossible for me to recall at a moments glance.

There are others too...Some of the people I have BMed are officers or such of publicly traded companies, but if they only post rarely, and don't disclose this in their profile, I don't know. and that might be considered important when reading his message.

Ditto for subjects.....Anyone have subjects BMed, and haven't got a clue as to why it's there anymore? But don't want to delete it? The unsolved mystery syndrome
