That would work most excellent!

what if we had a customization option (or a separate page) that listed *only* SM's with new messages? Just asking - not promising. <g>

Also, it would be great to be able to turn off a thread(s) during the day, buit keep a running countto be displayed when reactivated.

The reasoning behind this is that some days I don't want to be bogged down with "new messages" from coffee shop threads, but don't want to try to remember which ones were posted to during the day. If I just wash them in the "clear all messages" function, I sometimes forget.

Okay, this one might be a stretch of a request :)

Good idea. I am with August and Andreas on this one too. More functionality with bookmarks would be useful.

I would like to have two or three sets of bookmarks. I keep a lot of threads bookmarked but many of them are low priority threads. It takes a long time to load a bookmark page with 100 +/- threads.

A bookmark management page might be the way to go. Check a box for high or low priority. And I agree with Andreas...a box to check so several bookmarks could be deleted at once. It takes a long time to house clean..deleting bookmarks one by one.

ALSO

Why not a methodology to categorize/index posts? Something similar to a portfolio page. I would like to be able to create an index of quality/informative posts for a thread. I would like to be able to flag a post and put it in a category. Then make the bookmarked posts/categories available to all.

For example. On the Dream Machine thread there have been many posts about multimonitors. If I could flag the post and add it to a multimonitor group..then readers could review the multimonitor posts before posting to the thread.

Here is an example. It is a useful tool but it became too time consuming. Any help would be appreciated

Another good option would be to have the toolbar at the top and bottom of the page. When I get to the bottom of a post, it would be nice to be able to not have to scroll to the top of the page to check other subjectmarks.
