Eddy, an interesting read, you no doubt were looking at the following with regard to Y2k. Who knows what mischief lurks in some of their silicon. I'd speculate that the current occupation by Russian troops of the Serb airport is a desperate effort to maintain influence over Caspian oil and other resources in the area. Another point I found interesting was the success and generally high quality of research in their labaratories. Two points can be made from this.. one, their educational system was thorough and disciplined, and that their efforts were highly focused.
