"BTW, how many men does it take to fix a real dinner with no freezer, no microwave, no recipe, no woman, and less than $10 in the wallet? Complete with an inexpensive wine and for four people over for company?"

One man, two cans of Dinty Moore Beef Stew and a bottle of Thunderbird wine.

That was easy. Throw me another one.

Jim

The $10 is a dealbreaker for me - otherwise I'm right in there. :-)

You're preaching to the wrong rooster. Before I got married I was the designated family special events cook. No sweat, as long as you assume a standardly equipped kitchen -- if I have to go buy the fresh herbs, $10 won't do it. Otherwise, all OK, except the wine, since I'm teetotal.
