I agree with your analysis ... with that said, however, would it not be more prudent to hold off from engaging ANY take over overture for 18/36 months. We as shareholders would be in better position at that time to determine the appropriate value for our interest, no?

If wireless internet tools are the next pool and 3Com is already in it, we should wait to see how well we swim.

When COMS begins making Apple version of Palms that amount will increase another 20% or so. Shedding its less profitable divisions and concentrating on its strongest COMS is becoming leaner and meaner and more attractive. Still, it may take two companies to buy COMS and split the halves.
