IMO, two day halts are only a concern to short term traders....for all I care, they could halt it for a week.....I think it is absurd to even think that management of any company should consider, even for a nano-second, the interests of day traders and there ilk.....two days allows everyone time to digest a substantive release and also provides for an orderly market when re-opened:-)

Dear Confused:

That's life in the fast lane!
for this company Management makes the decisions, and mostly shareholders are impressed and SATISFIED with the results, Unlike the Suferors on another thread.

Have a good day now that you're finished slumming.

No I'm not saying that it trades anywhere while it is halted here. I am saying that they are in bed ASLEEP when we are reading the news. It's just better to give all parties a chance to both see the news and think about it calmly before making financial decisions. However this is mere speculation as I said earlier. I do have a guess for tonnage but it is also speculative. I expect more than 5 less than 10 Hope for more :-} All Wild Guesses

How can it be a disadvantage if the stock isnt trading

and everyone gets an opportunity to digest the information!

If the last news release had been issued in the morning and

trading began at noon many a shareholder would have sold into

the selloff only to be very unhappy after they had a chance

to digest and discuss the information.
