Zeev: LOL! "There might be something that we do not know that provide support to this stock everytime we go under $7/share".

Now THAT's a masterful bit of understatement if ever there was one. This "we not knowing" is as clear as a blue sky in deepest summer. What was your first clue that there's something about VLNC you don't know, eh? ;-) But one thing's for sure, VLNC's range bound, so I play it accordingly with a certain percentile of holdings, just the same as I do a couple other holdings that suffer the same tendency. Uncle Sammy's gonna LOVE me this year.....sigh....

But since you're here for your own selfish reasons(no one spends times on threads not relevant to their own particular interests), and I'll guess it's like mine, one based on profit, my suggestion is you consider the same tactic until such time as more information can be gleaned. That's if you've the stomach for this aspect of the game. The odds say VLNC will stay range bound until such time as the market is provided with substantive data.

Now....about those OEM p.o.'s with $$ attached....

John~

<<if that is the case, why is the stock holding so well?>> Ah, the $64,000 question.

One theory is that Castle Creek has supported it til now so they can maximize their short position at the highest price. I think we may have also seen some Russell 2000-related buying last week. If this theory is correct, the size of the short position suggests that Castle Creek may be about done supporting the stock. Any support related to the Russell 2000 should also be coming to an end because I think the index funds try to make their reconstitution adds by July 1.

On the other hand, maybe somebody is supporting the stock because there is good reason to do so, as you suggest. I don't think its going to be much longer before we know one way or another.
