Slick Willy's middle name is Jefferson. William Jefferson Clinton (good sounding name, isn't it?) And, yeah, D.C was originally part of Maryland, but although it is geographicaly located in Maryland (on the Virginia line) D.C. is as far from Maryland as the rings of Neptune. It's a totally different world... amazing how much difference the fifty miles from Annapolis or Baltimore to D.C. can make!
